Opening General Session & Keynote Address Prior to heading to the Expo, start-off your morning with industry updates by both NACE and CARS Chairmen, then enjoy an educational and motivational keynote address presentation by Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger, III.
The Auto Glass Replacement Safety Standards Council (AGRSS) in cooperation with ASA, NACE and CARS is excited to announce that Sullenberger, the heroic pilot who masterfully landed US Airways Flight 1549 in the Hudson River earlier this year, saving 155 people, will serve as keynote speaker during the Opening General Session, sponsored by DuPont Performance Coatings. His address will focus on how paramount safety is in a proper installation, proper collision or mechanical repair and proper operation of vehicles, thereby keeping the motoring public safely on the road. Captain of what has been dubbed the “Miracle on the Hudson,” Sullenberger is an aviation safety expert and accident investigator who also serves as the founder and chief executive officer of Safety Reliability Methods, a consulting company dedicated to management, safety, performance and reliability consulting.

Automotive Service & Repair Week (ASRW) was created in 2008 with the overall goal of bringing together buyers and sellers of automotive products and services in one venue that includes both education and trade show activities. ASRW continues to grow and include activities for other organizations' industry segments and events with the goal of creating a "mega" service and repair event that will touch all aspects of the automotive service and repair industry.
