NACE has a rich history of serving the collision repair industry and has grown to be known as The World's Collision Repair Event. Still the only event specifically designed for the collision repair professional, NACE began in 1983 with a 171 exhibit booth trade show and conference that attracted 1,573 attendees and reigns strong to this day. Intially, the acronym stood for National Autobody Congress and Exposition, but after successfully attracting a world-wide audience of industry professionals, NACE became International Autobody Congress & Exposition. NACE is proud to be a true reflection of the collision repair industry.

NACE is sponsored by Automotive Service Association, the largest not-for-profit trade association of its kind dedicated to and governed by independent automotive service and repair professionals. ASA serves an international membership base that includes numerous affiliates, state and chapter groups from both the mechanical and collision repair segments of the automotive service industry.
