SPACE DRAW

Following are the official rules and procedures that govern the Space Draw process for ASRW. Please contact Jeff Rogers at 972.536.6367 or Sandi McMullen at 972.536.6386 with any questions regarding Space Draw.

2012 SPACE DRAW PROCEDURES

 A. Companies earn one (1) priority point for each year of participation and one (1) priority point for current ASA associate membership. In addition, companies that exhibited in the 2002 event were awarded one (1) additional
bonus year priority point in recognition of the 20th Annual NACE event. The maximum number of priority points held by one company is thirty (31). Note: Any exhibitor who fails to exhibit for two consecutive years will forfeit all previous years’ points and be placed in the 0 point category.

B. Companies will be grouped by the number of priority points. Beginning with the 31 priority point category, companies will be assigned space according to 2012 booth size (square footage), and date and time contract and deposit are received by Show Management. After all companies have been assigned space within their respective priority point category, the process will continue to the next lower priority point group until those companies having zero priority points have been assigned space.

C. Companies that were not 1) 2010 exhibitors, 2) 2011 exhibitors, or ASA Associate Members will be assigned during space draw in the zero (0) priority point group. All accumulated priority points are retained in the Exhibitor Point
System.

D. In the space selection process, a single company is allowed to select multiple locations on the floor plan.

E. If two or more separate companies wish to be located next to each other or in contiguous exhibit space, they will be drawn together in the priority point group of the company with the lowest point total.

F. If an entity has controlling interest in multiple operating units or companies, the operating unit with the highest number of years of participation will determine the priority point group for the controlling entity. (Based on the
premise that priority points are assets that transfer during a controlling interest sale. Controlling interest is defined as greater than 50% ownership.) All operating units or companies represented by this controlling entity can
select space during the single draw of the controlling entity.

G. Joint ventures or operating partnerships in which one company does not have controlling interest will not qualify for combined drawing in the highest priority point category. They could draw together in the lowest priority point category.

H. At the time of each company’s space selection, available space is based on existing space configurations as noted on the floor plan. Show Management has the sole authority to make changes to the existing configurations as it
deems necessary for the success of the overall exhibition.

I. Subletting of space or assigning any portion of space to another company is strictly prohibited. Only products which a contracted exhibitor manufactures,
represents or distributes can be displayed within your exhibit space.

J. All contracts received after the space draw deadline will be handled on a firstcome, first-served basis.

*All exhibitors that participated in the 2011 event in Orlando, Florida had the opportunity to turn in a contract by November 19, 2011 to be included in an Early Space Draw at a lower square footage rate. This Early Space Draw took place in January 2012. Anyone who did not participate in the Early Space Draw have the opportunity to pick space during regular Space Draw March 19th – March 23rd, 2012. Any companies coming in the week of space draw will be added to Space Draw, but will be placed after all companies that turned in their contract by the deadline of March 15th, 2012.
