I-CAR Expands Educational Offerings & Presence at ASRW 2010

Dallas/July 30, 2010 – Through an expanded education program and on-floor educational sessions, I-CAR has expanded its presence at Automotive Service & Repair Week  2010 (ASRW) to include more than 20 I-CAR training sessions, as well as a Technology Showcase. The Automotive Service Association (ASA) is the sponsor of ASRW and two of its shows, the International Autobody Congress and Exposition (NACE) and the Congress of Automotive Repair and Service (CARS).

“I-CAR looks forward to returning to ASRW in 2010 with expanded course offerings and the I-CAR Technology Showcase,” said Bill Stage, I-CAR director of marketing and distribution. “We are pleased to take part in this industry event and have the opportunity to share the latest information about technology and the most up-to-date training at ASRW.”

In conjunction with the ASRW 2010 educational program, I-CAR will offer 24 I-CAR courses Saturday, Oct. 9; Sunday, Oct. 10; and Wednesday, Oct. 13. Each I-CAR course is available for $95 through the online attendee registration system for NACE and CARS. Additionally, each Saturday/Sunday attendees will receive a complimentary lunch and a chance to win one of 15 free ASRW Super Pass registrations.

“I-CAR’s educational resources bring another dimension of depth to ASRW,” says Ron Pyle, ASA president and chief staff executive. “Aligning ourselves with I-CAR further demonstrates our commitment to providing valuable, timely and relevant education to ASA attendees.”

The I-CAR Technology Showcase will include eight 45-minute sessions on new technology and repair methods. These sessions, led by I-CAR Instructors, will take place on the show floor each day of the ASRW expo and are complimentary to all ASRW attendees.

For complete schedules, session titles, and descriptions of both the add-on educational courses and the Technology Showcase, visit www.NACEexpo.com.

ASRW includes the International Autobody Congress & Exposition (NACE), the Congress of Automotive Repair & Service (CARS), Auto Glass Week, and the Automotive Service Councils of California (ASCCA), which makes it the industry’s leading event for true professionals to conduct business, network and engage in industry issues.
