FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Four New OEMs Commit to ASRW; Largest Collective Presence in Event History

Dallas/September 24, 2010  – Four more Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) have committed to Automotive Service & Repair Week (ASRW), in addition to the five OEMs previously committed, creating the largest collective OEM presence in the history of ASRW, NACE and CARS. NACE, the flagship event of Automotive Service & Repair Week (ASRW), is co-located with CARS and scheduled for Oct. 10-13, 2010, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. Nev.

The four additional OEMs are Nissan North America Inc., Hyundai Motor America, Mazda North American Operations, and Mercedes-Benz USA. They will be featured in a newly created area within the OEM Pavilion and the OE Service Information Center, which is specifically designed to allow qualified representatives from each manufacturer to share service information with the attendees of ASRW, NACE and CARS. They will join Ford, American Honda, Toyota, General Motors and Chrysler, which  will also occupy individual booth space within the OEM Pavilion. In addition, American Honda, Ford, GM and OEConnection will be hosting informative educational presentations in the OEM Theater.

“There’s no other place where members of this industry will find these OEMs all together, in one location,” said Ron Pyle, president and chief staff executive of the Automotive Service Association, the show sponsor. “Adding these manufacturers to the established OEM Pavilion is a significant development for ASRW.”

In addition to the vehicle manufacturers, OEConnection and InfoMedia will also exhibit within the OEM Pavilion.
